Chemistry on Mac OS X

There are two main advantages that make Mac OS X the right platform for scientific computing:
- a user friendly interface
- a Unix core

Based on Unix and open standards, the port of Unix applications to Mac OS X is attainable. For this, you need the developer kit (supplied with Mac OS X).
